St. Stephen

St Stephen is said to have been the first Christian martyr. He denounced Jewish teachings as blasphemy. He bested members of the synagogue in debates, which angered many. He was brought before Sanhedrin and accused of preaching against the Second Temple and the Torah. After making a long very anti Jewish speech, an angry crowd stoned him.
